Conditioning
It is important to exercise on your own a couple days a week to stay in top athletic shape and better prepare yourself for the upcoming year. The competition routine requires strength and endurance to execute each section. Stunting and tumbling skills come easier when you are well conditioned. Conditioning also prevents injuries.
Some ideas: swimming laps, running, jogging, walk with a friend, riding bikes, hiking, yoga, jumping on a trampoline, playing tag, going to the park, tumbling classes, zumba, dance class, boot camp, Insanity, jumping jacks, jumping rope, push ups, sit ups…ANY physical activity!
