Stunts
Stunting always starts with safety and the basics. There are multiple positions in stunting: flyers, bases, back spots, and sometimes-front spots. These are each very important positions.
Bases, back spots, and front spots need strength and coordination to lift our flyers into the air.
Flyers will require further stretching, body positions, tightness, and balance when they go into the air. The following body positions should be acquired: heel stretch, bow and arrow, arabesque, scorpion, and scale. The more flexible and confident we are in our positions, the better our stunts will look!
Note: We will stunt standing on our right foot 95% of the time. Work on body positions kicking your left leg into the air.
